The LEGO Ideas team has just announced that we are getting another wave of sets in January! There were no images or details provided other than they all come out at once (so don’t expect any previews), so this should probably happen around 5th-ish for those of us living in North America? No word yet as to how many total sets are coming in the next batch though. So far only one other set besides ours have been revealed - the Mythica Dragon set by Erik Wilson which got its own video reveal last week. It looks really cool!! In short, Bricklink prices for complete models keep going down and down while more and more stores like Target and Toys R Us are pulling them off their shelves and keeping less inventory overall. This combined with the fact that LEGO stopped releasing these kind of sets (meaning smaller box sizes) means that we won’t get any additional waves of the model after this current round due to lack of demand.
