Below is a long blog post about 10 tips for the successful management of your IT projects. These are based on my experience and what I have learned from others over the years, especially at Cisco where we do lots of complex multi-million pound project work in our UK headquarters! IT Project Management (or “PM” as it’s known) can be difficult to get right but there are some simple things you need to know that will give you the best chance of success. If you follow these guidelines then you should find yourself more likely to deliver IT projects within time, budget and scope. You may even have fun along the way!! :-) In this article I want to focus on how to successfully manage large or multiple projects - not just one single piece of work which might only take a few weeks to complete. I hope you enjoy reading this article; please leave comments below if you think anything has been missed out/you would like me to expand upon something further. So here goes with 10 top tips:

  1. Get everyone involved early This sounds obvious doesn’t it? But sometimes getting people involved when they haven’t had much notice is really hard! Try to ensure that all key stakeholders attend any kick off meetings so that their expectations can be managed effectively. This also helps avoid nasty surprises later down the line.
  2. Create an accurate project plan A common problem is that PM teams don’t spend enough effort creating detailed plans up front because they feel it takes too much time away from ‘doing stuff.’ However doing nothing is usually worse than wasting time now – imagine having no information about schedule and costs at the end of your first month, or six months into delivery. Your credibility with senior managers will suffer, plus other areas of business may rely on you being able to provide them with updates regularly throughout implementation (e.g. Finance). It does pay dividends though when completed properly…
  3. Always keep track of cost & progress against original estimates / baselines There must always exist an understanding between those responsible for building applications vs those who commissioned them around whether or not changes were made since approval took place during development stage(s), otherwise problems arise late in deployment process due lack knowledge regarding agreed parameters going forward e.g., additional features requested outside scope without agreement etc… And remember this rule applies equally well towards software developers working independently without direct involvement by client organisation staff member(s); after all why wouldn’t anyone else make use such powerful tools offered online today? The answer lies somewhere between “because” followed closely behind “but”. Now go forth young apprentice coder thyself!
  4. Ensure you understand change control processes beforehand If you have ever worked on a major system integration or upgrade, then chances are good that someone will try and sneak through some last minute requirements at least once during delivery phase itself Below is a long blog post about 3D printing and the issues around it. It may seem like too much to read at once, so you can also look here for a short summary of my conclusions from reading this paper and another one I posted in March (here). The authors are computer science researchers from MIT who have been studying 3d printers and their impact on society since before they were available to consumers. They see an opportunity for 3d print technology that is not being capitalized upon by companies right now: to make a 3d printer accessible to everyone without requiring any knowledge or expertise with them whatsoever; something similar to how smartphones are today, where anyone could pick up such devices and begin using them immediately. However, there’s more to having a 3d printed object than just pressing “print” – many design considerations must be made when creating objects as well, which currently only professional engineers know enough about to do properly. The authors propose opening up access to these designs to all users through public libraries that store digital files containing these designs along with information explaining how to use each file successfully. If this sounds familiar, then you might remember my previous blog posts covering open-source software like Linux or Bitcoin. Like those systems, if people collaboratively develop ways to solve problems together rather than relying solely on professionals, we will discover new solutions faster and easier than ever before! In other words, while 3D printing has become increasing popular over recent years thanks largely due its ability produce real world products out off thin air…this process doesn’t come cheap nor easy either unless done correctly which means knowing exactly what materials go into making said product . And because most people don’t know anything about manufacturing processes ,they often endup wasting money time resources trying figure things our themselves instead getting help experienced individuals willing give advice free charge !!! This problem becomes even worse considering fact majority population lacks basic understanding physics mechanics chemistry etc..And yet despite everything mentioned above ,people still want control over production process regardless whether technical background exists!!!I believe answer lies somewhere between traditional methods old school approach however unfortunately remains unclear until further studies conducted provide answers needed move forward development industry! So far I’ve given you quite bit information regarding topic discussed but please keep mind nothing written here intended serve readers directly therefore feel free ask questions comments should require clarification/further explanation provided necessary conclusion reached next section will include overall assessment findings derived study performed thusfar concluding remarks presented final thoughts expressed regards future directions study moves forward ! Thank You For Reading Below is a long blog post about 40K with some great photos. The story of how I got into gaming and started playing Warhammer: 40,000 is an interesting one; as such it’s probably best told in pictures rather than words! The year was 1987/8 when my brother (who had been a huge fan for years) decided to start up his own games club at the University he attended. He called this new venture “The Vault” after a character from one of our favourite fantasy roleplaying game books – Runequest by Chaosium Inc., which we both enjoyed during high school. It wasn’t until later that I found out just what made him decide on calling things like that… but more on that another time perhaps? Anyway back then there were only four people involved initially because everyone else wanted nothing do with us crazy kids who thought they could play D&D without getting killed off every session or so thanks mainly due too them being completely newbies themselves despite having played before hand through various friends etc.. But eventually over time those numbers grew significantly enough where eventually even moms would join us around Christmas times (whenever someone needed extra cash). They all knew each other very well though since most lived nearby whereas myself living far away meant sometimes months went between visits home if not longer depending upon work schedules etcetera etcetera… So yeah basically everything happened pretty organically really quickly considering starting out so small originally haha~ <3<3 So now you have a basic idea of why exactly i’m writing this here today but let me tell ya something funny real quick firstly: As soon as I joined said group back then wayyyyyy back then ages ago almost twenty five odd years actually no wait make sure its thirty six yrs old lol okay good now back onto topic yes right soooo anyways anyway back again next week hahahacough sorry yeah sorry again guys but i digress slightly here hahahaa see what happens when ur bored ok well here goes nothing much happening tbqh anyway moving swiftly along now shall we continue please?
