if you want to read

Below is a long blog post about 2014. I have summarized the main points for you in bold type, but if you want to read it all click here. I wrote this on Jan. 9th: “Happy New Year everyone! As I was reflecting over my past year and prayed that God would speak some things to me as well as to encourage others who are also starting their new year off right.…

Below is a long blog post about 3D printing and the law. It’s quite technical but I hope it will help you understand some of these issues, if you are interested in this area or considering using one yourself! Below is a long blog post about 2017 and the year ahead. It’s quite an effort to write, but I wanted it on here for those that want to read more in-depth reflections from me this holiday season!…

Erotic Reader and Writer Ezine

Below is a long blog post about 50 Shades of Grey. This article was written by an anonymous reviewer for Erotic Reader and Writer Ezine (ERW). The first thing that struck me when I picked up the book Fifty Shades of Grey, by EL James was how thick it was; my initial reaction to this was: “This is going to take some time!” I’m not sure what expectations other readers have had from reading this novel – if they expected it to be erotic or sensual in any way – but my own expectation was simply that it would provide a good read with plenty of drama, romance, intrigue, mystery… all those things which make up the ‘best-selling novels list.…

Im not sure if that

Below is a long blog post about 10 years of the World Cup. I wrote it for my workplace but I’m not sure if that was a good idea because they already know all this stuff and have been following soccer since before I started working there in April, so maybe some people will find it interesting? I was going to write something short like “Happy World Cup!” or whatever (as I do every four years) but then I remembered: This year’s tournament has an unusual number of special anniversaries attached to it—not just another one-time World Cup, but also its first ever African host country, and the centenary celebrations of three South American teams.…

am still feeling pretty good

Below is a long blog post about 2018. This has been the most prolific year of my life, and I am still feeling pretty good about it! This was our first full-time RV trip since leaving California in December of last year to come to New Hampshire for the summer season (and beyond). We took off from Mesa Verde National Park on June 1st with no idea where we were going but just knowing that the best place to be when the weather gets really hot here is at higher elevations – specifically above timberline so as not to have to worry too much about fire danger.…

find it interesting but also

Below is a long blog post about 350 and the upcoming climate summit in Copenhagen. I hope that you will find it interesting, but also worth sharing with others as well (so if you liked this article please click on share at the top of your screen). We have been working hard to get some media coverage for our upcoming events next weekend – we’ll be marching from Glastonbury Tor to Wells cathedral during the day, followed by a candle-lit vigil outside Wells city hall.…

What an amazing year Heres

Below is a long blog post about 2013, but I hope that you will take the time to read it. What an amazing year! Here’s what we accomplished in 2013: A new book called “The Cool Factor” came out this month and has been getting great reviews online. My next book with Simon & Schuster (“Better Than Before) comes out June 9th…and my first children’s book — written by me and illustrated by Brett Helquist of Harry Potter fame—comes out July 7th; “Just Grace.…

to sugar coat it there

Below is a long blog post about 12 things you can do to help save the environment. I’m not going to sugar coat it, there are so many little ways we can all make big changes to our lives that will reduce our impact on the planet and slow climate change down. It won’t be easy as there will always be people who don’t want to or aren’t ready to accept these changes but I think if we all try just one of them then we could really start making some serious progress!…

posted early so that you

Below is a long blog post about 2016. The good, the bad and the ugly! I’m hoping to get it posted early so that you can use your Sunday afternoon time more productively than reading my ramblings (but if this does happen to be your idea of fun – go for it)! I have been asked by many people what I am doing after retirement from work in July? My answer has changed over the last couple months but at present I will not travel or live anywhere else apart from New Zealand with my partner and two cats.…

to it on here later

Below is a long blog post about 1976, the year of my birth. I’ll be posting some other stuff related to it on here later and will link them all in one place once they are up - so check back for that! In April ‘75, in the midst of an economic crisis which had been deepening since early ’74, President Ford announced his proposal for a “Whip Inflation Now” (WIN) button, promising that if people wore this button to show their support for price stability, he would do whatever was necessary to bring inflation down.…
