account of the year but

Below is a long blog post about 2015. I’ve tried to be as positive and hopeful (and honest) in this account of the year, but it has been difficult for me not to dwell on all that was lost in so many ways – especially the loss of my husband, Jake. My intent here is twofold: one, to look back at what happened throughout the course of last year; secondly, to show how grateful I am for the people who helped me through such tough times. January started off well with our annual ski trip with friends from church up north near Squaw Valley. We had a wonderful time getting together each day after breakfast for morning devotions followed by some great downhill or cross country adventures! It was very special having my friend Liz and her daughter, Emma along with us too…a real treat. After returning home we attended a funeral service for an elderly gentleman named Bill, who passed away before Christmas Day. He lived next door to us when I was growing up. It was quite sad because he didn’t have any family left other than his best friend, Jack, whom he was living with. So everyone in the neighborhood pitched in to help out during those final days and even afterwards. I think there were over 300 people attending Bill’s memorial service! That was nice seeing so much love and support shown toward him, including lots of laughter which reminded me of Mr. Herman, another neighbor across the street where I grew up. Both men loved telling jokes and making others laugh. The first weekend in February I went to Arizona with several other women from church for their Ladies Retreat. We stayed at a resort hotel right on the lake with a beautiful view of snow-covered mountains surrounding us everywhere you looked. The weather was perfect and we had a blast doing all sorts of activities like hiking, shopping at the local art fairs, going horseback riding around sunset, eating delicious food, etc. Overall it felt good being surrounded by Christian sisters sharing stories and encouragement with each other while reflecting on God’s faithfulness throughout life no matter what difficulties arise. Whenever I go anywhere nowadays without Jake accompanying me feels strange yet refreshing somehow – sort of rejuvenated spiritually perhaps? Either way, it was truly uplifting just knowing He cares enough about me personally despite feeling alone sometimes still even though He promises never leave nor forsake His children always no matter what happens (Hebrews 13:5). Even if only briefly due merely circumstance beyond control rather than choice itself necessarily true nonetheless worth remembering always regardless situation encountered presently currently whatever comes since nothing ever remains unchanged forever ultimately anyway eventuality eventually certainty given sufficient time goes according plan regardless outcome initially intended purpose purs Below is a long blog post about 10 ways to improve your website. I’m not sure how much you like to read or if any of these will interest you at all… but they are my memories and thoughts from the last year, so here we go: It was 5 years ago today that I left California after graduating college with plans to move back home to New Jersey (where I grew up) before going off on adventures around the world! A year later I moved into an old Victorian house in Asbury Park where I lived alone for two months. It wasn’t the happiest time — but it taught me more than anything else could have - especially when living away from family & friends who care deeply for your well being…and without having anyone there watching over what might happen while also learning how difficult independence can be sometimes too:) I made new friendships through volunteering at places such as Habitat For Humanity; worked hard getting rid o debts including student loans by taking out side jobs; started writing again instead doing nothing during those days because everything seemed hopeless then suddenly found myself falling deeper into depression until finally finding relief somehow one day while walking down Ocean Avenue looking out towards ocean waves crashing onto shore below-only problem now? Was knowing exactly where she ended up afterwards🤔(which turned out pretty good)…And yes!! She does exist :) You know her name Is Lucy❣️ She has been married twice since moving back east with both husbands passing away due mainly health issues though still loves him dearly even though he passed away just recently :( As far as travel goes – Well yeah!!! You betcha ;) haha My first trip ever outside USA took place shortly after arriving In Canada which led directly into Europe followed closely behind then Asia Pacific region starting right here within South America - Brazil specifically Lima Peru where things got really exciting fast becoming addicted almost immediately upon arrival !! Soon enough though realizing why people always say “The grass isn’t greener On The other Side” cuz although beautiful everywhere still felt sadness mixed w/joy everytime seeing another country/culture etcetera come alive inside mind heart soul body spirit mindset etc….It truly changed perspectives forever after experiencing so many different cultures all around globe together making connections everywhere along journey…but let us not forget best part yet—meeting someone special whom becomes husband wife teammate comrade companion confidant partner friend family member supporter cheerleader fan advisor coach guide mentor philosopher therapist adviser consultant teacher guru spiritual leader goddess mother father grandfather uncle brother sister cousin niece nephew child dog cat fish mouse lizard frog turtle snake ant spider fly bee dragon worm snail slug ladybug c Below is a long blog post about 16-bit video game hardware. It’s more for the enthusiast than anything else, but if you have an interest in how these machines work, it may be worth reading: https://www.facebook…2957483306466/ Below is a long blog post about 50-218 (and other things) by my colleague Peter A. Hunt and me: We have two new papers in the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy this month that we think you might find interesting for several reasons. First, they both focus on a single piece of legislation – the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation Liability Act of 1980 or CERCLA as it’s more commonly known (you can read our papers here). Second, neither paper takes an economist approach to analyzing environmental law but rather are written from a legal perspective which makes them slightly different from most articles published at the ELSNet. Third, the authors of each paper include current faculty members from Georgetown University Law Center so there is some real diversity across disciplines included within these pages! Finally, the papers deal with one another directly and engage head on over fundamental issues such as statutory interpretation. These characteristics make both pieces worth reading even if you don’t normally spend much time thinking about environmental law. In addition though, there is something else going on too… Both papers were presented last year at the annual meeting of the American Society of Legal History where they received lots of attention because both had been accepted for publication well beforehand. This was unusual since typically papers are only considered after the conference has ended and feedback provided by commentators. In fact, it wasn’t until almost exactly three months after presenting their work did either author learn whether or not his or her paper would be actually be published. For Peter Hunt (George Washington), who was first up at the podium, he found out via email just seven days prior to submitting comments on my article for consideration for publication while I learned through FedEx delivery nearly four weeks later. At least we could now begin drafting revisions together…
