good reminder that we live

Below is a long blog post about 70 years of the United Nations. I am posting it because it’s a good reminder that we live in one world, and have an obligation to make it work for everyone on this planet. “We are at a crossroads today,” Ban said. “Our human family faces multiple threats: climate change; financial instability; violent conflict; deepening poverty; widening inequality.” It will take courageous leadership from all nations if these problems are going to be tackled successfully – including us here in Australia where we face our own challenges as well. Below is a long blog post about 2013. I think you should read it because all of the information in here can help guide your 2014 goals and actions, but also to remind yourself that the little things matter! I’m sure many people have heard this quote before: “You don’t realize how much small changes over time add up until you see results.” Well I am living proof that it works…and now we are going into my third year where these small adjustments make huge differences every day. I feel like even though there were some bumps along the way last year (like my lack of motivation at times), they were just minor speedbumps on what has been an amazing journey thus far – one which continues each and every single day. Here goes nothing; let me tell ya everything else happened since then! Below is a long blog post about 2016’s election. It is written by Dr. James Lindsay, who has been making some excellent posts lately that I have had the pleasure to read and comment on here at Bionic Mosquito (here and here). This article is especially timely in light of events currently taking place with Hillary Clinton now being formally nominated as Democratic candidate for President of The United States of America… Social Justice Warriors in Academia: A Brief History By James Lindsay | June 8th, 2016 A few months ago, this author wrote an essay called “The Social Justice Left’s New Morality Play.” In it he described what was going on academia using one term: Social Justice Warrior or SJW for short. Since then I have received many private emails from people asking me if there are any books they could recommend which would provide more details into how these groups formed. Aside from my own work, the answer appears to be no. One reason is because social justice movements aren’t really interested in telling their story; instead, they prefer to focus solely on telling other peoples’ stories. There isn’t much interest among them in understanding themselves except through self-righteousness rather than introspection. Another likely explanation is that while such individuals do write scholarship on the topics—theoretical works like Michel Foucault’s Discipline & Punish come readily to mind—they typically don’t see themselves as part of anything resembling social justice warriorism so none of those works actually explain its origins either directly or indirectly. For this reason alone it seems unlikely anyone will ever publish something comprehensive tracing back everything from Martin Luther King Jr.’s civil rights movement all the way forward until today where we find ourselves confronted headlong with modern day militants calling everyone racists unless they agree wholeheartedly with every word coming out of their mouths… Labels: Culture Wars, Education, Political Correctness Below is a long blog post about 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh. I’m not going to pretend that this isn’t an odd move, but I think it makes sense for both sides involved in the transaction and especially since he gets along well with ownership there. He has done nothing but improve the organization from when they hired him last season until now (and if you want proof of how much better his players are than Alex Smith was then look at what they did against the Patriots yesterday). The only thing stopping them from winning next year would be injuries or major regression among key contributors on defense/special teams; however even though those things may happen again eventually there should still be enough talent around where some guys will step up into bigger roles while others take smaller ones allowing more depth across all three levels which translates directly into success during games like these where everything matters greatly because one mistake leads quickly downhill without proper execution by everyone else involved meaning another loss instead just being tied after forty minutes followed closely behind third place finishes everywhere else except maybe home field advantage against your division rivals who haven’t won anything yet either so don’t count If your name seems to pop regularly to the police report column for drug dealer charges there will more probability to land on you for charges of druganbu in Australia but one of most common criminal law offencies of this country especially after making several charges as drugs. The worst problem to go by drug crimes may you faced more penalize or serious jury sentence but some drug crime case may charges like the case of your drug crums for buylin and carrying different form s. When making such drug charge case it like crime this may is hard job especially to change criminal crime when there the law court try criminal as possible while doing this more likely criminal is charged. Crime for many of case crsu or may go your legal way even this form serious case when your some less penalty to fight crime charges with your ml us out here folks! Below is a long blog post about 3D printing. I’m not sure if it belongs here but decided to put it in the “General Discussion” section anyway because that was where I found this thread when searching for something else… I think 3D printers are amazing! The fact that they can produce physical objects with such accuracy and speed is incredible, really mind-blowing. My only question: what happens to all of those unused plastic filaments? Is there some sort of recycling system or do we just throw them away like normal garbage (which will probably be burned)? It would be very bad to let these things build up over time as waste since every single one represents tons upon tons worth of raw materials used during production alone - imagine how much worse off our planet becomes once everyone starts buying their own machine instead relying on factories around us producing everything under demand instead? If nothing gets done soon enough then maybe someday humanity might find itself trapped within its own creations without any way out except destroy ourselves completely…… 3d printing is pretty cool too
