late than never In January

Below is a long blog post about 2015. I know it’s been several months since the year ended, but better late than never! In January of last year I started writing down my goals for each month and then at the end of December I wrote up how many were accomplished. It was fun to look back on what I had done throughout the past twelve months instead of just looking forward to next year. So here are some things that happened this year in no particular order… I got engaged!!! (See here) We set our wedding date as October 8th, which means we will be married exactly one week after my birthday! :) This summer I went to London with my parents - yay!! My friend Heather moved from Austin to Chicago so I came out there twice to visit her during the spring semester. She also came home once too. Lots of catching-up time together! We finished all three seasons of Parks & Recreation and watched all six episodes of The Wire season four while we did so. Matt and I saw Hamilton: An American Musical live in New York City before he left for California. That show was amazing! I traveled around Europe over the Christmas break by myself. Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice, Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Munich, Heidelberg. I loved every minute of it except maybe the part where I slept outside in the freezing cold rain in Vienna because they didn’t have any more rooms available anywhere else. But even that wasn’t terrible because I got to spend two nights sleeping underneath this giant cathedral in town. And seeing everyone’s faces when I showed them pictures afterwards was worth all the trouble. Austin has become a much bigger city these days – especially downtown. There are new restaurants popping up everywhere nowadays like Easy Tiger Beer Garden + Bake Shop and East Side King. We celebrated Matt’s 30th birthday there earlier this fall. One other thing that surprised me? They actually changed up traffic patterns down Congress Ave., making it easier to get through without having to wait forever. I think this is a big deal considering traffic jams were always an issue there for years. For the first time ever, I hosted Thanksgiving dinner at my house. My dining room table can seat eight people comfortably, if you don’t mind sitting very close together or being able to see everything going on across the table. ;) It turned into quite a social event though; my brother and his girlfriend flew in early Thursday morning followed closely behind by another couple who drove straight from Houston. Then later on Thursday evening, we received phone calls informing us that both sets of grandparents would be stopping by soon as well! Needless to say, everyone arrived within Below is a long blog post about 19th century German history, and the reasons that my novel, The Lost Crown (published in September), features King Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia. In 2015 I attended a conference at Regensburg University on ‘Bavarian-Prusian Cultural Relations’ from 1874 to 1936, which was jointly organized by the Bavaria Institute for Research into Borders (Institut für Grenzraumforschung) and the Center for Political Education (Zentrum für politische Bildung). The papers presented gave me some excellent ideas for new research projects related to the time period covered by my second book, The Kaiser’s Last Kiss, but also made it clear that there are still many questions concerning this relationship between Bavaria and Prussia – especially since these two states were rivals rather than allies during most of their history! While both kingdoms belonged to what we would call today ‘the Central Powers,’ they had no common interests beyond their shared participation as opponents against France or Austria respectively. Moreover, even when they did have something important in common with each other—such as fighting against Napoleon III —they could not agree upon how best achieve victory over France; thus leading up until World War One there existed an inherently competitive dynamic within Silesia itself between different branches of government within Germany: namely state governments vs federal ones . In short -it seems like things didn’t always go smoothly here either ! But regardless whether you consider yourself “pro” versus “anti”, one thing remains true : There will never be another place quite so interesting again…unless maybe somewhere else entirely?! So let us explore together now shall we ? Because who knows where our journey may lead next ?? Below is a long blog post about 5th Avenue Theatre’s production of “The King and I.” The show runs through Sunday, August 21st. “The King & I” has been one of my favorite musical theater productions since high school choir (no joke!). My sister took me to see it in junior high—I loved all those beautiful costumes; my favorite was a beaded red gown worn by Anna Leonowens during her first audience with King Mongkut of Siam. And then there were the songs: I still remember them today…and singing along as best I can from memory! It wasn’t until college that I really learned more about this piece of American history and culture—that Thailand, which at the time had never heard of such things as football or baseball games, did indeed send its own emissary on a goodwill trip to America just after World War II. That it was King Bhumibol Adulyadej who made his way across oceans for what turned out to be an unforgettable two-year visit. And while there are plenty of historical inaccuracies when comparing the movie version with real life events, it seems that Hollywood got it right overall with their depiction of the relationship between the king and English teacher/wife Anna Leonowens. After all, they knew each other well beforehand If your name seems to pop regularly to the police report column for drug dealer charges there will more probability to land on you for charges of druganbu in Australia but one of most common criminal law offencies of this country especially after making several charges as drugs. In return, Anna requested that he learn how to treat women fairly under law so that perhaps there wouldn’t ever again need to be another war over whether women should have equal rights within society. It seems that some things haven’t changed much even now… In any case, this story of cultural exchange comes alive brilliantly yet simply enough here thanks not only to director Michael Matthews but also choreographer Patricia Wilcox whose work makes great use of traditional Asian dance moves incorporated into classic Broadway style numbers. The set itself evokes both elegance and opulence in every scene, though the stage is hardly spacious due mainly to being located inside Seattle Center Armory Hall rather than any larger venue downtown where most people expect these shows will take place instead. But despite having less space available than normal audiences might hope for based upon previous visits elsewhere around town or online reviews written by critics elsewhere prior to seeing themselves live performances up close (like us), we didn’t feel cramped at all throughout our stay watching “The King & I” unfold backstage behind us near curtain calls afterwards too. Just know going forward ahead - get tickets early before sellouts happen later closer towards opening night date! A few quick notes about ticketing options before diving deep down below: First off, you may want consider purchasing your passes using either cash via mail order form printed directly onto page one Below is a long blog post about 2017, written by the author. I like to think of it as a year in review for my personal development and life lessons that I’ve learned throughout this year (2017). This was the first full year where I am not working on anything full time or having any kind of deadline with clients/work projects. It has been liberating! However, at times when you don’t have these things pulling your attention away from yourself – which happens quite often in our busy lives today; especially if we are an entrepreneur who constantly juggles multiple balls every day -it can become overwhelmingly quiet without distractions around us all day long too so make sure there’s some form or type entertainment planned into those moments alone because otherwise boredom sets-in rather quickly… The year started off great: After finishing up some freelance work towards the end of last year and taking down most everything online related to my businesses except one website/portfolio site (which still gets traffic), then moving out west coast USA during late January early February for another 4 weeks after going through my whole house selling process back east here before leaving completely behind me forever never coming back again evermore until death do separate them apart once more just prior before finally reaching California state borders eventually arriving safely intact undamaged unharmed unaffected & unscathed unblemished unscarred untouched unspoiled upon arrival yet another successful travel adventure completed successfully complete accomplished achieved attained finished fulfilled realized satisfied met reached accomplished achieved attained finished fulfilled realized satisfied met reached accomplished achieved accomplishments achievements attainments successes triumphs victories wins progressions improvements developments advancements progression developments advancement progressions improvement development improvement developments advances progressions advance development advancing progressively progressive advances progressives developmental progressiveness improvement developmental improve developments advances progressions advance development advancing progressively progressive advances progressives developmental progressiveness improvement development improve developments advances progressions advance development advancing progressively progressive advances progressives developmental progressiveness improvement development improve developments advances progressions advance development advancing progressively progressive advances progressives developmental progressiveness improvement development improve development improves developmental progressiveness improvement developmental improvement developmentally improve developments advances progressions advance development advancing progressively progressive advances progressives developmental progressiveness improvement development developments advances progressions advance development advancing progressively progressive advances progressives developmental progressiveness improvement development developmentally improving developmental improvement developments advances progressions advance development advancing progressively progressive advances progressives developmental progressiveness improvement development developmental improvements developing developmental improvement developments advances progressions advance development advancing progressively progressive advances progressives developmental progressiveness improvement developmental Below is a long blog post about 2016. It’s the most important thing I read this year and will change your life if you apply it to yours, so please do that! The book I’m referring to here is called “Everybody Lies” by Seth Stephens-Davidowitz (it’ll be available on January 3rd). The reason why everybody lies has something to do with how we think – not just what we say or believe, but how our brains are wired in such ways as to make us lie even when telling the truth would serve ourselves better in many cases. He says that people lie more than they used to because of changes in society over time, including advances in technology and improvements to social norms and morality. This means there was once an era where lying wasn’t considered acceptable behavior for adults; today however things have changed quite drastically since then - making it easier nowadays than ever before before before before… Read More at: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2015/10/31/magazine/how-people-lie.html?_r=0&emc=edit_th_20151031&nlid=48971357&ref=headlines&at=&_r=0
