the Huffington Post Earlier this

Below is a long blog post about 1200-word piece that I wrote, and how it came to be published in the Huffington Post. Earlier this year my family was going through some really hard times as my mother’s health declined very rapidly over an eight month period of time (she passed away in August). My sister had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer which we found out at Thanksgiving while she was visiting us for her first round chemotherapy treatment since being told there were no other options than surgery or chemo just two months prior when they discovered she has stage IIIc ovarian cancer. As if having all these major life changing events happen within six weeks wasn’t enough, our daughter started kindergarten right before Christmas break so we didn’t get much of one because both kids have autism spectrum disorders. We also recently lost three members of our church community who committed suicide within six days of each other, and during those same six weeks I was fired from my job after almost four years. All of these things happened around me, but most importantly: I experienced them along side my children, husband, parents, extended families, friends, co-workers, congregants and students. It seems like everyone experiences something similar whether you are religious, nonreligious, gay, straight, transgendered…you name it—it doesn’t matter; people go through shitty stuff together all the time. But does anyone know what it feels like? Do any of your relationships change once someone close to you dies? How do their deaths affect not only yourself and others near and dear to you, but how do you feel about God afterwards? And last, but certainly not least – What happens next???!! It may seem odd to use such blunt language on the topic of death, but honestly, we don’t often think about the process of grief and loss until it actually hits home! In fact, I spent many hours searching online trying to find answers to my own questions and never did I see anything regarding faith, spirituality or religion. So after experiencing it myself, I decided to write about it and share my experience in hopes that maybe another person would read it and benefit somehow by knowing that he/she isn’t alone. Or perhaps, even better yet, if more people saw themselves reflected back into the words and realized that there aren’t nearly as many differences between human beings as society wants to believe there are. The truth is, we hurt, bleed, cry, love, laugh, sing, dance, rejoice, despair, etc., regardless of race, ethnic background, gender identity, sexual orientation, financial status, political affiliation, age, or ability level. That being said, let me introduce myself again here briefly: My name is Kelly Miller and I am a married lesbian living happily ever after Below is a long blog post about 529 plans and the changes to them. I think it will be helpful for many of you! The new rules make these tax-advantaged college savings accounts more appealing, since they now offer greater flexibility in how money can be used — not just at colleges but also some other educational institutions or as K through 12 tuition payments. Contributions that are made after Dec. 31 won’t qualify for this year’s tax deduction; only contributions already invested by then count toward deductible limits. Below is a long blog post about 6010075. It was written by my friend, David L., who has been working on this for many years now! I am currently researching the family tree of my grandfather’s mother - Mary Elizabeth (Hill) Burge and her parents and siblings in England from where they came to Canada around 1892/3 settling firstly near Barrie Ontario then later in Hamilton ON. My interest at present centres on finding out more information regarding the Hill lineage starting with William Henry Hill born c1843 (from census records we know he married Harriet Batchelor abt Sept 1865). I have found some info about his son Thomas John Hill b 1881 but cannot find any further details so far as to what became of him other than that he died sometime before Dec 1911 when his father passed away - see attached copy of death notice. Both William & Harriett were buried locally and are commemorated on headstones within Christ Church Cemetery located in nearby Chester Township just north-east of Oshawa along RR #1 between Hwy#2 and Simcoe St N.. While searching online using Ancestry etc I discovered an article published in ‘The Durham Sentinel’ newspaper dated Sat Oct 20th, 1934 which mentions both William and Thomas together plus two others i.e.; Isaac Hill (b. 1882), and William Hill Jr.(b. 1883). The link below will take you directly to the relevant page: http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=KYdPAAAAIBAJ&sjid=-uAMAAAAIBAJ&pg=5939%2C275242 . You need to scroll down slightly until you come across “Oakwood” and click onto it; the article can be read by clicking here also. Note there appears to be a typo error in the surname being printed as “Gill”. Also note the address given relates to a Mr Gill living somewhere on King Street West in Toronto and not Oakville or elsewhere. This article is rather interesting because it names 4 men who lived close to each other during their lives at least up till 1934 although none would ever marry nor procreate offspring. Unfortunately no real data is provided such as dates of birth, addresses, occupations, marital statuses, next of kin contacts etc thus leaving me somewhat puzzled as to how these men fit into my genealogy search. All four of them appear to share similar surnames of their own i.e.: Hill and Gill however, only one name seems appropriate i.e.: GILL henceforth. If anyone reading this may happen Below is a long blog post about 12 years in the making. It was written by Dave O’Donnell, who has been doing some research into my family history for several months now. I asked him to write it up so that I could publish it on this site as well as posting links from other websites which might be of interest. He kindly agreed and here we are with his article! Enjoy reading - there will probably be more to follow at some point but you can read it all below right away if you want (or you can skip ahead). It took me quite a while to get around to publishing this because when he first wrote it down everything seemed too familiar; almost like reliving things again. But after stepping back a bit, it does give an insight into how much work went into finding out what happened during those crucial days following Operation Market Garden in September 1944. Thanks go to everyone involved, including Dave himself, for helping us piece together our missing puzzle pieces. And lastly thanks goes to Google Translate where I managed to make sense of most of the pages translated from French using their online service… The story begins shortly before midnight on Wednesday morning October 5th 1944 – with the news reaching headquarters in the village of Valkenswaard. The Dutch Royal Air Force were based nearby and they immediately swung into action – sending out patrols to search for survivors or bodies whilst also informing local authorities who passed on details of what had just occurred. This information quickly filtered through to Allied Headquarters where plans were made for specialist units already en route towards Holland to assist in recovery efforts. As soon as possible, rescue missions began along the entire length of Highway 67 with teams searching farms and farm buildings alongside houses in every hamlet between Eindhoven and Nijmegen. Within hours hundreds of soldiers lay dead in fields and ditches near the roadside having perished during one of the largest air raids ever seen over Western Europe. They had been caught unawares by waves of Luftwaffe bombers returning home from attacking targets deep inside Germany. Fearful of retaliation, Adolf Hitler ordered his forces not to surrender even though thousands of German aircraft were destroyed during ‘Operation Steinbock’ leaving many pilots stranded behind enemy lines without food water or fuel. For these men however, no mercy would be shown – each man was shot upon capture resulting in mass graves being discovered across southern Holland afterwards. One particular group found themselves trapped within what became known later as “the Hell Corner” area between two rivers flowing southwards past Arnhem town centre itself – only able to escape via bridges further west toward Nijmegen after losing half its number attempting such ventures earlier during September fighting against British paratroops who landed on dropsites scattered throughout region around same time period Below is a long blog post about 6 new changes to the way we build our products.
