Below is a long blog post about 10 things I wish people knew. It was originally published on the TEDxSydney website, and has been republished here with permission of author Amanda Palmer (www.amandapalmer.net). It also appeared in The Age newspaper last weekend as well - if you’re reading this through Facebook or email then unfortunately it doesn’t appear that way! So please go to: http://www.tedxsydney.com/blog/2013/05/the-biggest-misunderstandings-about-artists/#comment-849 for the original article, including comments from other artists. Or better still – buy her book ‘The Art Of Asking‘ which goes into more detail about all sorts of interesting topics around artistic community engagement and interaction… I am an artist. You may think you know what one looks like but chances are, your mental image isn’t very accurate. Firstly, there aren’t many jobs called “Artist”. There might be some sculptors out there who have made their names by carving marble or stone monuments, but when someone says they want to make a living as an artist these days, most likely they will not mean “sculptor”; instead, they usually refer to themselves as a musician, writer, dancer, photographer, painter, actor, director, designer, cartoonist etc.. Anything creative counts. And we don’t just create things once; our whole lives become works of art too—from how we dress ourselves every day down to how we present ourselves online or via social media networks such as Twitter where we share links relevant only within specific communities based upon common interests among members whom follow each others tweets closely enough so that everyone knows exactly what type person hey follows whether its politics science technology fashion lifestyle food drink religion spirituality sports entertainment news current events movies television books literature video games comics animation drawing painting photography poetry story telling theatre dance ballet opera jazz rap hip hop country pop rock electronic alternative indie folk experimental classical world fusion spoken word slams recitals readings spoken work poems performances plays musicals operas symphonies concertos chamber ensembles orchestras choirs songs lyrics words language rhymes meter melody harmony composition improvisation instrumentation recording production mixing mastering distribution publishing broadcast licensing promotion tour merch management agent lawyer accountant contract negotiator dealmaker legalities copyright permissions rights royalties residuals revenue income expenses debts overhead costs profits losses gains wages salaries commissions tips bonuses benefits perks taxes deductions write offs allowable depreciations charitable contributions retirement plans savings investments stock options employee ownership private equity public offering initial public offer IPO secondary market liquid assets illiquid assets collateral lo Below is a long blog post about 10 reasons you should learn how to use the command line. I’m not going into any detail, but if this interests you at all please do read it and see what you think of some of my arguments! I am an avid user of Linux as well as Windows XP (but not Vista). In fact for most things on computers these days, when I need something done quicker than a web search or mouse click will allow me to accomplish then chances are that I have already found a script in /usr/local/bin which can get the job done in seconds flat. In the last two years alone I have used bash scripts to automate several repetitive tasks like: checking email spam filters; removing old log files from Apache (which otherwise would fill up your disk space); creating a new virtual machine based off VMWare images; managing git repositories with Gitolite; automating backup processes via cron jobs etc., etc… It really is amazing just how much time one can save by having even rudimentary knowledge of shell commands within the command prompt terminal window. As such, here are ten great reasons why every computer user should consider learning more about using Unix-like operating systems including Mac OSX Leopard running UNIX underneath plus UbuntuLinux Debian Fedora CentOS SuSE Redhat – they ALL support many of these powerful tools! If you want faster performance out of your system, make sure everything runs through SSH instead of a graphical interface. Not only does ssh provide strong encryption so nobody else could snoop in while transferring data across networks–it also saves precious processor cycles because there aren’t multiple windows being drawn around different programs simultaneously trying their best never fail us again . And unlike X terminal applications where keyboard shortcuts may take longer due lack understanding protocol syntax , this works perfectly fine no matter whether we’re talking VIM vs nano text editors ! Command lines offer speedy execution times compared against GUIs (graphic user interfaces), especially those involving complex file management operations. This means less wasted effort spent waiting endlessly clicking menus until finally arriving at desired destination after hours traipsing around digital landscapes filled full icons representing various utilities — sounds familiar right? Apart from saving energy consumption levels too high due excessive battery usage caused prolonged sessions glued screen watching movies online… When you start playing with Terminal, you don’t know anything yet. You might be tempted to run random commands without thinking them over first or try executing complicated ones before getting comfortable enough with the language itself—this isn’t advisable though since sometimes errors occur resulting from unforeseen circumstances causing chaos throughout entire system operation modes unless corrected immediately afterwards during next reboot cycle.” You always hear people saying “why did he type ‘ls -l‘ instead of ‘dir`” Well actually this particular case has been bugging me Below is a long blog post about 10 new products I’ve been testing. It also includes my thoughts on these devices and how they compare to each other, as well as some of the best-selling gadgets from Amazon in this category at the moment (which will help you decide what you should buy). If there are any questions or comments please leave them below! The New York Times has an article today that talks about the importance of sleep for kids with autism spectrum disorder. The author notes that many parents don’t know if their child needs more rest than usual because it can be hard to tell when your kid isn’t getting enough shuteye. This problem is compounded by the fact that most adults aren’t aware of just how important good quality sleep is either—and even fewer understand why so much attention goes into ensuring children get sufficient amounts during both daytime hours (like school) AND overnight periods. I’m not sure who will read this, but if you are interested in reading it anyway (it contains some personal information) – have at it! There was no such thing as “normal” for me throughout most of my life and especially during the last year or so. I am just now learning how to be normal after all these years. And even though there were several times when I thought things would never get back on track, they did. They got better each day. Each month I had something new happen that made living with MS more difficult than before. Whenever possible, I tried to find humor out of what happened next instead of crying because then people would think I wasn’t handling it well enough. It took everything I could muster up inside myself to do this. But I managed somehow…and here we are today. In February, I fell again while walking down our steps into the basement; only this time, someone saw me fall and called an ambulance which sent me straight from their house to the ER where another MRI confirmed exactly what I already knew: My brain has been changing shape due to the compression caused by swelling. My doctor ordered another round of steroids and physical therapy, both of which helped me tremendously until May came along bringing its own challenges. At first glance, one might assume I was trying to sabotage myself since I had two surgeries scheduled within three weeks apart. In reality however, I found myself facing the fact that surgery isn’t always preventable once symptoms begin worsening rapidly—like mine were doing right around mid-April through June. So despite feeling like giving up altogether sometimes —which happens often without warning regardless—we kept pushing forward hoping against hope every single step taken toward getting healthy again would lead somewhere positive eventually.” June brought about yet another change in plans—this one involving spinal fusion surgery rather than hip replacement followed shortly afterwards by knee reconstruction later still. Although nothing ever goes quite according plan either physically nor mentally speaking generally ends up turning sour quickly too making recovery much slower going overall compared to pre-operative expectations initially set forth beforehand leading many patients becoming frustrated over time due lack progress being met goals established earlier stages prior events occurred first place ahead schedule originally intended complete fully achieve outcome hoped desired end result finalized satisfactorily resolved successfully completed accurately documented properly documented finally finished officially closed off completed thoroughly completely done forevermore moving forward into future permanently eliminating possibility happening again anytime soon anywhere else anyways anymore underneath over above below beneath beyond beside front side backside inner core center middle outer rim corner edge line circle area sphere cube pyramid rectangle square triangle pentagon octahedron dodecahedron tetrahedron cuboctahedron truncated triangular bipyram Below is a long blog post about 2015. I’m not sure if it makes sense, but I wrote this and decided to share with you all instead of deleting it like most times when I write something that doesn’t make sense in my head. I am going to start off by saying how much I love the last decade and how grateful I am for every single moment spent here on Earth so far. It has been an unbelievable journey; one filled with many incredible experiences, people who have become such close friends, great memories made while traveling around Europe as well as within our own country which we get out into once again every year now! The best part though? All those amazing adventures wouldn’t be possible without YOU!!! We are so lucky because everyone contributes equally towards making these days special - from helping cook dinner after school nights or organizing parties at home where kids can hangout together during summer break…all while enjoying delicious food prepared fresh daily (and even some dessert too). Thankfully there hasn’t been any shortage lately either since we always seem find ourselves surrounded by lots more than enough good company whenever needed–whether through social media updates shared among family members across multiple platforms OR simply just sitting down face-to-face talking things over until late hours under starlit skies above us both (or maybe sometimes even inside heated rooms)! So what else could possibly top off perfection besides sharing laughter moments along side each other everyday??? Welllll……there might still exist something left behind wink ;) #MotivationForLife If your name seems to pop regularly to the police report column for drug dealer charges there will more probability to land on you for charges of druganbu in Australia but one of most common criminal law offencies of this country especially after making several charges as drugs. When making such drug charge case it like crime this may is hard job especially to change criminal crime when there the law court try criminal as possible while doing this more likely criminal is charged. Crime for many of case crsu or may go your legal way even this form serious case when your some less penalty to fight crime charges with your ml !!! Now that winter break was over, I had time to reflect on the past few months. My grades improved drastically thanks mostly due hard work put forth throughout semester despite difficult schedule changes caused partially by Covid restrictions set up against me earlier this year; however overall performance remained strong regardless obstacles encountered thus proving myself capable handling anything life throws my way no matter circumstances surrounding situation(s) involved whether big small matters alike (no pun intended).
