This has been an eventful year for me in many ways, so I thought it was worth writing down some thoughts and lessons learned over the past twelve months before moving on to something new (that’s right! 2017 will be my last full-time job). I did this because I wanted to force myself into thinking more deeply about my life instead of just going through each moment without much reflection or intention. The experience changed everything for me—I feel like becoming conscious enough to write daily allowed all sorts of things to become apparent within myself which were previously hidden from view; feelings toward certain people suddenly appeared as well as realizations regarding how far away they actually are from who we really want them around us at any given time throughout our lives.
